July 2023 : Filling, Fairing, Filling, Fairing, Undercoating the Hull

 

The beginning of the fairing process. Sanded the high build primer 

then filled pin holes etc before the first full screed of epoxy filler  

 

My selection of torture boards 

There is a lot of shape in the forward sections of the boat 

so I used shorter boards in this area

Initial fairing completed & 3 coats of epoxy high build primer applied

It took 2 fills and torture boarding to get the hull ready for high build primer. 

Next step is to board the high build & set up to mark out the water line. 

Pretty happy with the result
