January 2023 : Starting to fit plywood planking

I started by fitting the first skin on the bottom. 

All of the joins in my plywood planking are a 12: 1 feather edge scarf. 

I decided not to fit all of the stringers before planking as it allowed  

easy access to get inside to clean up excess glue.

12 : 1 ration feather edge scarf joint. It is an off cut from one of my planking panels  

12 : being the length of the scarf   /   1 : being the thickness of the plywood. 

Scarf length 110mm / Plywood thickness 9mm

This is a very strong way to join plywood
